Branding Customization (macOS)

Applicable version(s): 10.3.0+

You can customize the HYPR Passwordless for Mac client with your own corporate branding so that the application name, icon, logo, and background match your organization’s identity. Customization can be applied at install time via an optional preconfigured custom skin bundle.

For branding on Windows, see Branding Customization (Windows).

Basic branding

Basic branding lets you set the application name, application icon, logo, and background image used by the client.

Image format and size guidelines are similar to those for the Windows client: PNG (recommended if you need transparency), JPEG, or other supported formats. Sizes can follow the Windows branding image guidelines; for high-DPI displays (e.g., Retina), use higher-resolution assets for best appearance.

Requirements

Xcode (to build the bundle) and the CustomSkin.zip project provided by HYPR.

Steps

  1. Obtain and open the CustomSkin project
Unzip the provided CustomSkin.zip and open the project in Xcode.

  2. Customize content
In Xcode, modify the graphics and strings as needed for your branding (logos, icons, labels, colors, etc.).

  3. Build the bundle
Compile the project and locate the output file CustomSkin.bundle.

  4. Deploy with the installer
Place CustomSkin.bundle in the same directory as:

    • The Mac installer package (e.g., HyprPasswordless-10.7.2-Installer.pkg), and
    • The hypr.json configuration file.
  5. Run the installer
When you run the installer, it copies CustomSkin.bundle into /Library/Application Support/HYPR on the target Mac. The client then uses this bundle for the customized UI.

Outcome

After installation, the client uses your custom skin so that the Workforce Access (WFA) experience on Mac reflects your corporate branding. For advanced customization options or support, contact HYPR Support or your HYPR representative.
