Backward Compatibility

All HYPR components are fully compatible across the three previous/subsequent minor (X.X) releases

Enhancements

Improved Windows RDP Login
When accessing a Windows machine via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), users are logged in directly after authenticating with the HYPR Mobile App and no longer need to press ENTER to accept an empty PIN. Please see the RDP Access page for more information about using RDP with HYPR.

Streamlined Web Login UI
The HYPR web authentication flow no longer requires the user to choose between Smartphone and Smartdevice as the first login step. Instead, users are presented with a unified "Sign In" button and are only prompted to select a passwordless login device if they have more than one device registered.

Java 11 Now Required
Client-hosted HYPR platform services now require Java 11. In addition, Python 3 is now needed for the installation scripts. Please see the Upgrading from 6.7 to 6.8 page for more information.

Jailbreak Detection for iOS
The HYPR Mobile App is now blocked from running on iOS if it detects the device is jailbroken.
