Proxy Settings

Overview

Admins can configure proxy settings within the FIDO Control Center. The proxy settings are part of the global settings which impacts every Relying Party (RP) created via the Control Center. Proxy Settings are available in Server versions 3.8 and onward.

What traffic goes through the proxy?

The only traffic that goes through the proxy is the Firebase PUSH. This only applies to out-of-band (OOB) authentication.

Why proxy settings are needed?

The proxy settings are needed only if the server does not directly access the Firebase service.
