CC Service Error Codes

CC_INTERNAL_ERROR 1202001 This error indicates a generic server issue. The administrator should check the server logs for indicators of an unhandled error. If the issue persists, contact HYPR support.
CC_RP_USER_N0_REG_DEVICES_EC 1202002 The user does not have any registered devices for the rpAppId. The user should register a device under the requested application.
INVALID_REG_REQ_EC 1202003 The request provided invalid data. Try again. Contact HYPR support if the issue persists.
RP_AUTH_TOKEN_CHECK_FAILED_EC 1202004 The provided access token is invalid. Check the access token supplied in the API request. Re-issue a new access token if needed.
LICENSE_SERVER_SETUP_PROBLEM_EC 1202005 This error indicates that the current license is invalid. The administrator should check that the license server is reachable and that a valid license has been applied.
OOB_DEVICE_PIN_MATCH_EC 1202006 Could not find corresponding pin request from client. Try again. Contact HYPR support if the issue persists.
HOST_AVAILABILITY_EC 1202007 This indicates that an internal service was not reachable. The administrator should check that all services are available and running.
LICENSE_SERVER_PROBLEM 1202008 This indicates that the license server is not reachable. The administrator should check that the license server is available and running.
APPLICATION_NOT_FOUND_PROBLEM 1202009 An invalid application was used. Check that you have created and set up the application in the Control Center.
FIDO_REQ_FAILED_EC 1202010 The FIDO operation failed due to invalid request data. Try again. Contact support if the issue persists.
WS_AUTH_SESSION_NOT_FOUND_EC 1202011 The workstation session was not found. Wait for session to timeout over a minute or so. Re-try
WEBSOCKET_TRANS_EC 1202012 There was an issue with the websocket connection between the server and workstation. Use Offline Mode or restart the computer and try again.
WS_AUTH_MATCH_EC 1202013 Authorization between the device and workstation failed. Check that the workstation can reach the Active Directory server, and that the workstation HYPR service is running. Otherwise restart the computer, or use Offline Mode.
FIDO_SERVER_REQ_EC 1202014 The Control Center failed to reach the UAF server. Check that the UAF server is running and reachable.
INVALID_PUB_SUB_PAYLOADS_EC 1202015 This error indicates an issue with extensions. Try again or contact support if the issue persists.
WORKSTATION_NOT_FOUND_PROBLEM 1202016 The workstation does not appear to be registered. Try again or contact support if the issue persists.
INVALID_CERT_EC 1202017 This error indicates a problem with the SSL certificate. Ensure that the certificate is in the correct format and try again.
SESSION_CREATION_EC 1202018 This error indicates an issue creating a session. Code problem. Admin to check logs for session creation problem.
INVALID_ACTION_ID_EC 1202019 Ensure that the Action ID (Authentication Policy) is setup in Control Center for the Application. Action ID does not match Client Action ID. Admin to check CC for policy setup.
ACTION_NOT_CONFIGURED_EC 1202020 The application setup is incomplete or incorrect. Please ensure that the action ID is configured for RPAppId in the Control Center.
DEVICE_NOT_FOUND_EC 1202022 Could not find the device requested. Please make sure your device has been paired with the computer.
PUSH_MESSAGE_SEND_EC 1202023 There was a problem sending push notifications to the user. Please make your device is paired, and push notifications are enabled.
RELYING_PARTY_USER_NOT_FOUND_EC 1202024 There was an issue finding the user for the requested application. Please ensure your device is registered to login with this website.
WS_AUTH_TIMEOUT_EC 1202025 The operation on the workstation has timed out. Wait one minute and try again.
APP_PUSH_CONFIG_EC 1202026 There was an issue with push provider configuration. Please make sure push notifications are enabled, and your device has been paired with the device manager.
PUSH_NOT_CONFIG_EC 1202027 There was an issue with push provider configuration. Either push is disabled or the url is null. Check Control Center logs and contact HYPR support for assistance.
CHALLENGE_NOT_FOUND_EC 1202028 There was an issue with the challenge used in the FIDO operation. Wait a minute and try again, check the audit log within the Control Center.
INVALID_ADAPTER_URL_RC 1202029 There was an error in the adapter processing. The adapter URL is not correct. Admin to ensure that the adapter url is valid and reachable from the server.
ADAPTER_RC 1202030 There was an error in the adapter processing. This was the resulting response bean from the adapter. Admin to check server logs for extension problems.
EXTENSION_JAR_INVALID_EC 1202031 There is an issue with the extension JAR package. Please ensure the identity provider extension follows the rules, and try again.
EXTENSION_CONFIG_EC 1202032 Failed to stop or unload the extension. Please ensure the identity provider extension follows the rules, and try again.
EXTENSION_STARTUP_EC 1202033 Failed to load extensions. Path: Admin can look at server logs for failure details. Usually, it's filesystem permissions issue.
EXTENSION_INVOCATION_EC 1202034 There was a problem with your identity provider extensions. Admin to check server logs for the specific extension problem. A run time exception for a 3rd party product is not known to the server.
RP_APP_CACHE_INIT_FAILED_EC 1202035 Failed to initialize server cache. Server is not able to load applications from server and/or cache them. Check server logs for root cause.
DEVICE_NOT_FOUND 1202036 Mobile device record not found on the server. Might indicate a registration problem or perhaps the mobile device has been unpaired by the user.
DEVICE_KEY_INVALID_HMAC 1202037 HMAC of the msg payload is invalid. In some APIs the device supplies an hmac of the msg. This allows us to confirm the integrity of the msg. Try re-registering the mobile device.
INVALID_DEVICE_KEY 1202038 Device key in the request is invalid. Registration data could be corrupt. RP app or the server might not be the one we registered with.
RECOVERY_PINS_NO_EXISTING_REG 1202039 When revealing recovery pins, no existing device registrations found. The search was by machineId, rpAppId, deviceId and machineUser. Do a registration if it is a new device or an authentication other wise. Make sure recovery pins are enabled in the control center.
RECOVERY_PINS_MACHINE_NAME_NOT_FOUND 1202040 MachineName not found. No matching MachineId found for machineName. For retrieve recovery pins API, the machineName is the displayed name. It is used to find the machineId to query the existing device registrations. Solution is to provide an existing machineName.
RECOVERY_PINS_EMPTY_AGREEMENT_PROPERTY 1202041 To validate the recovery pins auth, a key agreement handshake component was missing. Restart registration or authentication. As last resort Admin can look at the registration table in the db.
RECOVERY_PINS_AUTH_AGREEMENT_FAILED 1202042 Validation of publicKeyAgreementAuth or recoveryPinsAuth failed. There is a mismatch on the keys used to sign the uath. Will likely be a legit invalid case and someone is trying to send the wrong keys.
RECOVERY_PINS_INVALID 1202043 Invalid recovery pins, due to invalid recovery pins auth. Do a registration or authentication with a new device.
WS_AUTH_SESSION_EMPTY_EC 1202044 Unable to lookup null/empty sessionId. Wait a minute and try again, check the audit log within the Control Center.
PUSH_MESSAGE_NOT_FOUND_EC 1202045 Push msg being requested is not available. Device is requesting a Firebase msg from the server via poll. However the msg is not available. This may happen when the msg is expired or the HMAC is incorrect.
ONBOARDING_INVITE_EC 1202046 Invite to onboarding user was not able to be sent. Wait a minute and try again, check the audit log within the Control Center.
ONBOARDING_SSO_COMMUNICATION_EC 1202047 Onboarding was not able to communicate with the SSO Provider. Wait a minute and try again, check the audit log within the Control Center.
ONBOARDING_GENERIC_EC 1202048 User may already exist. Try another username.
ONBOARDING_SSO_USER_DOESNT_EXIST_EC 1202049 SSO User does not exist. Try another username.
ONBOARDING_TENANT_ID_NOT_FOUND 1202050 Onboarding tenant ID not found. Try a different tenant id.
ONBOARDING_SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE 1202051 Onboarding Service unavailable. Onboarding Service is only available on HYPR Cloud. [Internal: This means our hypr cloud infrastructure was unreachable or threw an error.
RP_USER_ALREADY_INVITED 1202052 User already invited. The username for this RP App has already been invited and a magic link has already been generated for them. Try another username or use Resend Invitation to send a new invitation to this user.
PUSH_QR_NOT_ENABLED 1202053 QR Authentication is disabled. Verify that QR Authentication is set to enabled and try again.
INVALID_SERVER_CONFIG 1202054 Invalid server configuration. Please check config on the Control center UI.
USERNAME_ALIAS_ALREADY_EXISTS 1202055 Username alias that was entered already exists for a user. Please choose a different alias and try again.

RP Service Error Codes

OOB_AUTH_INTERRUPT_EC 1201001 Usually the result of the server under load/contention. The authorization request has been interrupted for the ClientRegistrationComplete request. 1. Check the logs for any indications of server failures. 2. The user can retry after a minute.
OOB_DUP_REG_REQ_EC 1201002 The user already has a pending registration request. Device pairing may still be in progress. Try again in a couple of minutes, or contact support if the issue persists.
MISSING_PUSH_CREDS_EC 1201003 This error indicates that the push provider is not configured for this application. Configure a Push Provider in the Control Center.
OOB_DUP_REQUEST_EC 1201004 The user has a pending request with the same ID. Wait for session to timeout over a minute or so. Re-tryaRegistration may still be in progress. Try again in a couple of minutes, or contact support if the issue persists.
INVALID_SESSION_EC 1201005 The session provided is not valid. Wait a minute and try again, or contact support if the issue persists.
UNSUPPORTED_VERSION_EC 1201006 The client or device software version is incompatible with the server. Please contact support to confirm that you have the correct software version.
OOB_CHALLENGE_NOT_FOUND_EC 1201007 The registration request is invalid. Try again after a minute or contact support if the issue persists.
OOB_REG_REQ_NOT_FOUND_EC 1201008 This error indicates that the client cancelled registration and the current operation cannot proceed. Wait one minute and try again.
DUP_REQUEST_EXCEPTION_EC 1201009 An authentication or registration attempt already exists. Please wait a minute and try again. If the issue continues, check the audit log within the Control Center.
IMAGE_TOO_LARGE_EC 1201010 This error indicates that an invalid image was uploaded. The max file size is 256kb. Please try again with a smaller image.
SESSION_TIMEOUT_EC 1201011 The session is not valid for this request because it has timed out. It took too long to complete the action. The user should restart the app and try to authenticate again.
MACHINE_NOT_FOUND_EC 1201012 The current machine does not exist in the user's session. Wait one minute for the session to expire, and then try again.
OOB_AUTH_REQ_NOT_FOUND_EC 1201013 The request is invalid for the user's session. Wait one minute for the session to expire, and then try again.
COULD_NOT_SAVE_USER_EC 1201014 The user's session cannot be found. Wait one minute for the session to expire, and then try again.
PUSH_USER_REG_EC 1201015 This error indicates that there was a problem registering the user for push notifications. The administrator should check that the API token is valid in their push notification settings.
SESSION_NOT_FOUND_EC 1201016 The user's session cannot be found. Wait one minute for the session to expire, and then try again.
CLIENT_CREATION_EC 1201017 This indicates that there was an internal error creating an SSL client. Wait one minute and try again. If the issue persists, contact HYPR support.
CLIENT_SETUP_REQUEST_TIMEOUT_EC 1201018 Registration failed due to a timeout. The user can wait a minute and try again.
OOB_CLIENT_SETUP_REQUEST_NOT_FOUND_EC 1201019 There was an issue communicating with the client. Wait one minute and try again.
OOB_CLIENT_REG_SESSION_MISMATCH_EC 1201020 The sessionId provided in the request is invalid. Wait one minute for the session to expire, and then try again.
STATUS_UPDATE_EC 1201021 There was a problem updating the status for the machine. Check that the machine is paired and try again.
DUPLICATE_WORKSTATION_OP_EC 1201022 The authentication failed due to the presence of another pending authentication request. Wait for a minute and try again.
INVALID_REQUEST_PARAM_EC 1201023 The operation failed due to invalid request parameters. Wait for a minute and try again. Contact support if the issue persists.
DEVICE_DEREG_EC 1201026 An authentication or registration attempt already exists. Please wait a minute and try again. If the issue continues, check the audit log within the Control Center.
DEREG_IN_PROGRESS_EC 1201027 There's a pending unpairing request for this device. Ensure that another de registration attempt is not in progress. Wait for a minute and re-try.
INVALID_WORKSTATION_CONFIG 1201029 Invalid Workstation Configuration. Verify that the Workstation settings for this application are correct.
WORKSTATION_LOCK_EC 1201030 Issue occurred with Workstation Lock. Wait for a minute and try again. Contact support if the issue persists.
REGISTRATION_CANCELLED_EC 1201031 Registration canceled by client setup. Wait one minute and try again.
RP_APP_DOES_NOT_EXIST 1201032 The machined display name for the provided rpAppId is not found. Verify that the appId is correct and that it currently exists and try again.
USER_DOES_NOT_EXIST 1201033 Invalid username provided. Verify that the username is correct and that it currently exists and try again.
DELETE_REG_USER_PROBLEM 1201034 There was a problem deleting the user. Wait for a minute and try again. Contact support if the issue persists.
