Home Screen Widgets

HYPR Mobile App users who are set up to unlock their workstation with HYPR can add a widget on the home screen that gives one-click access to their default machine. (The widget initiates the login; users then authenticate through their usual method.)

Adding the HYPR Widget for Android

1. Touch and hold an empty space on the home screen, then tap Widgets.

2. Touch and hold the HYPR widget and slide it to the appropriate screen.

3. Log into the default workstation by tapping Unlock My Primary Computer.
4. Authenticate as usual.

Adding the HYPR Widget for iOS

1. Touch and hold an empty space on the home screen until the apps jiggle, then tap the Add button (+).
2. Type hypr in the search field.
3. Tap the HYPR icon to display the widget.

4. Tap Add Widget.
5. Drag the widget to the appropriate screen.
6. Tap Done.

7. Login to the default workstation by tapping the widget.
8. Authenticate as usual.

Troubleshooting

• If the mobile device is paired with only one workstation, and the widget doesn’t unlock it as expected, make sure the workstation is selected as the default computer in the HYPR Mobile App. To do so, press and hold the workstation’s name in the app, tap Computer Details, and make sure the This is my Default Computer option is enabled.
• If the authentication process doesn’t start the first time you use the widget, be sure that you have a default workstation defined, then tap the workstation icon in the HYPR Mobile App after opening it through the widget, and authenticate through the app. The next time you use the widget, authentication should start as expected.
