Enhancements

Improved Handling of Removed Workstations
The HYPR Mobile App for both iOS and Android now more accurately synchronizes workstation status with the HYPR Server.

Offline Mode Authentication Improvements
The HYPR Mobile App Offline Mode functionality has been improved to make it easier for users to authenticate when their workstation and/or mobile device has no internet connection. See the 6.11.0 UI/UX Updates page for more information.

Touch ID Support for Additional macOS Versions
Support for workstation unlock using the Touch ID fingerprint reader in the HYPR Workforce Access Client has been extended to macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and 10.15 (Catalina) in addition to macOS 11 (Big Sur).

iOS SDK Security Improvements
The HYPR SDK for iOS now uses more secure archive/unarchive methods and restricts keychain data export

General Improvements

  • (Device Manager) Make sure the web and dynamic versions of a magic link are only valid for a single registration and can't both be used
  • (Mobile App - Android) Fix an issue where subsequent push notifications don't display if the app is sent to the background while showing the notification confirmation screen
  • (Mobile App - Android) Make security improvements to the biometric prompt
  • (Mobile App - Android) Prevent the app from becoming unresponsive when the device is left locked for extended periods
  • (Mobile App - iOS) Add sound/vibration feedback when the mobile device receives a HYPR push notification for web authentication
  • (Mobile App - iOS) Ensure the post-registration UI is consistent whether a user registers via web magic link or a dynamic magic link
  • (Mobile App - iOS) Fix unlocking error after user attempts to re-pair an existing workstation
  • (Mobile App - iOS) Make sure the Cancel button on the Face ID pop-up correctly cancels the authorization
  • (SDK - Android) Enhance the SDK to incorporate the recently-added version control functionality
