User Experience

This section documents what the people on the receiving end of a HYPR Affirm verification actually see — the requester stepping through identifier capture, OTP, document capture, and selfie; the approver reviewing a flagged verification; and the branding controls that determine how those screens look in your tenant's deployment.

For administrative configuration that shapes the requester experience (workflow composition, step ordering, retry behavior), see Configuring HYPR Affirm.

What the Requester Sees

The step-by-step requester walkthrough: welcome screen, consent, identifier entry, OTP, location, document capture (front and back), live selfie with Motion Detection, attestation wait, and the outcome handoff. Includes the requester-facing variations introduced by Dual Document Verification, Liveness-Only Anchor Image, and Verified Credentials.

What the Approver Sees

The approver review surface — the evidence package presented to a human approver when a verification is escalated, the live-chat and live-video session entry points, and the approve/deny actions that resolve the verification.

Branding and Customization

The end-user screen customizations available — Affirm Studio kits, per-workflow branding assignment, consent screen content, and the per-language/locale variations. For deeper customization (logo upload, color theme, screen content override via API), see the admin-side Customization guides.
