Attestation
Attestation is the final human-review checkpoint before a successful verification's outcome fires. An approver from the configured chain reviews the verification's evidence package and explicitly approves (or denies) before HYPR proceeds to the configured outcome.
This step is always enabled and cannot be disabled.
The set of approvers, their ordering, and their timeouts are configured at the workflow level via Approvers and Escalation Approvers. HYPR-automated approval is also configurable as the final entry in the chain — if every human approver times out, HYPR can apply automated logic (based on step pass/fail) to approve or deny.
What the approver sees
After reviewing the Scorecard, the approver reaches an Access verification surface where they must check the attestation statement before the Approve button activates.
The Access verification surface. The approver attests to having validated the information; only then does the Approve button enable.
For the full approver flow — email invitation, Scorecard review, confirmation modal, and success screen — see What the Approver Sees.
