Risk Policy Templates

HYPR Adapt Risk Policy creation can be made easier using HYPR-provided templates. These templates can be used to either add a pre-configured policy or create your own custom policy based off an existing policy. This article presents the current Risk Policy templates available in Adapt. To see the list of available Risk Policy templates in CC Standard Mode, go to HYPR Adapt > Risk Policies and click + Risk Policy.

Built-in templates at a glance

Template	What it enforces	Why you'd use it
Workstation Unlock	Conditions a workstation unlock on user, network, or location attributes.	Restrict unlock to corporate networks, geofenced regions, or trusted hours.
Login Limits	Caps authentication attempts per user within a time window.	Throttle credential probing or brute-force attempts at the auth boundary.
Monitor Authentications	Logs evaluation outcomes without enforcing the decision.	Shadow-mode rollout — measure policy impact before enforcing it.
Affirm / Adapt Integration	Drives an Affirm verification flow's escalation step from a HYPR risk policy decision.	Step up to a higher-friction Affirm verification when risk signals warrant.
CrowdStrike IdP Integration	Gates IdP-mediated sign-ins on CrowdStrike device-trust signal.	Block sign-in from devices that fail CrowdStrike's Zero Trust posture check.
CrowdStrike ZTA Integration	Evaluates CrowdStrike's Zero Trust Assessment score at HYPR auth time.	Enforce a ZTA score threshold for HYPR-mediated authentication.
